The Municipality of Athens and the Culture Network of the Municipality of Athens, taking into account the general feeling of concern in society as well as the decisions of several cultural institutions to suspend their activities, and therefore not to participate in the Night of Culture on 20 / 3 due to the coronavirus epidemic, postpones the Night of Culture for the end of May.
The participation of tidal flow art in the 3rd Night of Culture with the film of Menios Karagiannis is cancelled.

Free cultural activities throughout Athens until dawn. Theater, dance, music, cinema, exhibitions, tours, rare collections and educational programs, with free participation, from the afternoon of Friday, March 20 until dawn.
48 of the most important cultural institutions and the most active cultural groups of Athens participate in the event.
Dozens of cultural sites in Athens will remain open until dawn on Friday, March 20 for this year’s Night of Culture. The organization of the Municipality of Athens is done in collaboration with 48 cultural institutions of the city and includes -among other things- concerts, walks, visits to museums, screenings and performances with free participation.
“On Friday, March 20, we are organizing for the second time this year at the request of the Athenians and the cultural institutions of the city, the third Night of Culture, this great celebration of the city for arts and culture . Within a year and a half, both the participating organizations and the visitors have more than doubled, and this is another proof of how inexhaustibly creative Athens is. We invite young and old to welcome Spring enjoying and participating with free admission, in actions and events from Friday afternoon until dawn” comments the mayor of Athens, Costas Bakogiannis.
48 of the most important cultural institutions and the most active cultural groups of Athens participate, activating public spaces, but also opening the doors of their own spaces in Athens or in neighboring municipalities. At the same time, 35 galleries invite us to an exciting night. Audiences of all ages can enjoy, with free admission, theater, dance, music, cinema, art, exhibitions, tours, guided tours, rare collections, educational programs from the afternoon of Friday, March 20 until dawn.
